Engaging Students in Learning
This is one of my strongest areas as a teacher. I believe students learn best when they are actively involved in the lesson. I use hands-on learning, project-based learning, and historical artifacts to make history more engaging. For example, I have brought in helmets, photographs, flags, uniforms, and other items from my museum collection to help students connect with the past. These experiences make history feel real and meaningful instead of just something in a textbook. I also use group work, discussions, and interactive activities to keep students involved and interested.
