Domain 3: Learning Experiences

One of my biggest strengths in this domain is engaging students through real-world connections and hands-on learning. I believe history should not be taught as just names and dates, but as real events that affected real people. For example, I brought historical artifacts such as helmets, photographs, flags, uniforms, and other items into the classroom. These experiences helped students connect with the past in a physical and meaningful way. Instead of only reading about history, students were able to interact with it. I also focus on asking strong questions and encouraging discussion. I want students to think critically, explain their reasoning, and support their ideas with evidence.
